TableTop Games Group

There will be a small core of us to get things off the ground. The games are all owned by myself (Paul Dunlop), Graeme Stephen and Viv Robertson. We all live in Fenwick. We've enjoyed board gaming for a few years now and have been part of small games groups with friends locally and in Glasgow. We've been to gaming events such as the Glasgow Games Festival ( Glasgow, November, 300+ people), the UK Games Expo (Birmingham, June, 21,000+ people) and aspire to go to Essen (Germany, October, 185,000+ people) someday!

 

Our role will mainly be aimed at finding out the types of games that people might be interested in, making recommendations, explaining rules and getting people started. Often the easiest way is to have a quick first game, ideally with someone who has played before, to get a feel for what you are doing on your turn and to see how the game flows. Once you've got the hang of this, you can then start to think about the strategies involved in playing more competitively.
