Who can come?
Everyone is welcome- children, adults, families, groups of friends. There are no age limits and the broader the mix the better. There is no membership, people can come when it suits them. We only plan to advertise the group for people in Fenwick but if people want to bring friends from outside the area then that's fine.
Can I bring food/drinks?

We're happy for people to bring snacks and drinks with them- water or soft drinks only though, no alcohol. Ideally bottles that can be re-sealed i.e. a screw top or sports bottle as liquid and cardboard do not go well together!
Can I bring my own games?

Absolutely! We're always happy for people to introduce games that they enjoy to the group. Just bear in mind that there's always a small risk that things can get accidentally damaged in transit or during play.
Why is it just on in winter?
We think board games lend themselves to dark nights in a warm, cosy space with friends and family. There are also more opportunities for indoor fun in the winter when the sun is setting at 3:45 and it's generally wet or freezing outside. People should be taking advantage of our light nights in the summer and getting outdoors!
